Shane Johnson

Owner & President, MPR

Shane has 30 years of experience in the sports industry, from coaching to managing tennis resorts and sport facilities nationwide. He is a two-time college All-American tennis player and has held rankings as high as 6th in the Nation during his athletic career.
He is frequently mistaken for Agassi….because of his quick movement (why, what were you thinking?).

Shane married Courtney in 2009 and imparted his talent, wisdom and love for the game of tennis on the rest of his family. Shane and Courtney were ranked the #1 mixed doubles team in Texas and both kids played tennis at the highly competitive Highland Park High School. McKay currently plays on the Baylor University Club Tennis Team.

Courtney Johnson

She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and received her Master’s of Speech Language Pathology Degree from Texas Woman’s University. Following a career path paved by her mother’s stroke, Courtney has been a Speech Language Pathologist at Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation for 23 years while also a mother to her two children, McKay and Ainsley who also love the game of tennis thanks to Shane’s awesome influence! Courtney has recently found a way to combine her love for the game of tennis with her hobby of shopping 😉 into a Retail Merchandising position for MatchPoint Resorts.
