Courtney Johnson

Although Courtney calls herself a Native Texan being raised in Dallas almost all of her life, she was actually born in Florida and has managed to make her way back to the sunshine state. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and received her Master’s of Speech Language Pathology Degree from Texas Woman’s University.  Following a career path paved by her mother’s stroke,  Courtney has been a Speech Language Pathologist at Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation for 23 years while also a mother to her two children, McKay and Ainsley. Courtney and Shane married in 2009 and Shane imparted his talent, wisdom and love for the game on all 3 of them. Shane and Courtney were ranked the #1 mixed doubles team in Texas, both kids played tennis at the highly competitive Highland Park High School and McKay currently plays on the Baylor University Tennis club team. Courtney has recently found a way to combine her love for the game of tennis with her hobby of shopping 😉 into a Retail Merchandising position as she manages vendor relations and purchasing for MatchPoint Resorts.
